Maria Grazia Swan was born in Italy, but has lived  in Belgum, France, Germany, and beautiful Orange County, California where she raised her family. She currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.

Maria, always a writer, won her first literary award at the age of fourteen. In addition to her published works, she has written short stories for anthologies, articles for high profile magazines. She has six mysteries in her Mina Calvi Adventure series, and two non-fiction books, Stories My Grandfather Told me, and Mating Dance: Rituals For Singles Who Wern’t Born Yesterday.
