Welcome to the website of the Lagunita Writers' Group

(Our group is currently on extended hiatus. We will announce when and if we restart.)

 

The Lagunita Writers' Group meets one evening a week in a private home in Dana Point, California. 

We share our latest creations, critique the work, give encouragement and suggestions, and enjoy each other's company. Together, we celebrate the successes of our members.

Each writer is encouraged to bring enough copies of their work to share. Work is to be no more than ten pages, double-spaced, please. Another person will read the work aloud, and members will discuss and make suggestions.

 

The current group averages eight to ten writers per session, although others may come on occasion. 

 

The group is available to speak in the Southern California area on several topics. Individual members are also available.
