Julie
is an award-winning watercolor artist and writer. She has earned
the Pen Woman Award in Children's Literature and two awards in the Top
100 writers in Writer's Digest. Currently working on three children's
novels and ten picture books, she has been published in

Lorna &
Larry Collins grew up together in Alhambra, California and have been
married over forty years with one daughter. Larry was a project
engineer on Universal Studios Japan, and Lorna was in Document Control.
They now reside in Dana Point, California where Larry enjoys surfing in his
spare time.
They are currently working on
two mysteries. Lorna's anthology, Snowflake Secrets, has just been

Italian-born
Maria G. Swan loves to write. At fourteen, she received her first award
for a short story. Although most of her credits are for non-fiction,
mystery is her true love. Swan is fluent in Italian, French and English.

Christie Shary
Christie is
married with two grown sons. She now lives in Dana Point, California but
has lived in London, Amsterdam and Mexico City. She has had two
award-winning novels published, as well as short stories and poetry. In
addition, she has completed four other novels and worked as a
professional writer for large Orange County corporations. Her new work,
Lucky Dog, won the 2006 Fresh Voices Award. Her world travels
give life to Sonata’s adventures in Snowflake Secrets. She is now
working on a romance and a sequel. |

Harvey Mendez
Harvey,
born in Wisconsin, moved to Arkansas from Laguna Beach, California in
1999 with his wife, Ann. He is a pharmacist, licensed in three states,
and hopes to make a living in writing. He has had four books, short
stories, a poem and an article published and is working on another book.
He has also co-written a screenplay currently entered in three contests,
and three short stories also entered in contests. He runs, walks and
plays basketball and is currently working on a western. |

Margie Taylor
Michigan
native Margie was a newspaper columnist who had occasional magazine
assignments before "retiring" to rear two sons. Her Marine husband's
many career upgrades found them living on both coasts and in-between.
Their bridge hobby provided instant new friends, even in foreign lands.
It still works in California where they live today. |

Leonard & Luanna Rugh
Both native
Californians, Len and Lu met while working together at a Bob's Big Boy
restaurant. They had been married about a year when Len was drafted to
serve in Vietnam. They have just completed a moving account of
Len's serious wounding and recovery. Lu is currently working on a
mystery novel, and Len is creating a series of 1st person short stories
of inanimate objects and an "autobiography" of their dog, Gina.

Kathleen Whitley
For many years Kathy and
her husband lived on the East Coast of the US. They traveled
extensively, and Kathy and her writing partner Barbara Clayton
documented the special places they discovered. The result was a series
of New England travel guides. Kathy has since relocated to the opposite
coast and lives with a view of the Pacific Ocean. She has written a
mystery which is ready for publication. |
